Simply the Best (in Cloud) – Zendesk Wins German “Best in Cloud” Award

The hits keep coming for our European branch, which recently took home a Best in Cloud award in the “Software as a Service – Private Cloud” category from German magazine COMPUTERWOCHE at their annual Best in Cloud awards. Zendesk competed alongside Pervasive, Brainloop AG, Materna GmbH, and Wasserman AG before taking this year’s crown. We’re honored to win the award and extremely proud to be mentioned amongst such great companies.

Each company gave a live demo as part of the judging process, and we were fortunate enough to have Bjoern Bauer of Coremedia do ours. In just six short minutes, Bjoern logged into his help desk, answered tickets, demonstrated multiple views and generated reports for the crowd while our General Manager, EMEA, Matt Price—who doesn’t speak German—nodded in agreement. Obviously, Bjoern did a spectacular job, and we’re extremely thankful for it. So from all of us here at Zendesk, “Thank you, Bjoern!”

Gathering Steam in Europe

With this award, our European expansion is gaining significant momentum. We recently launched our EMEA headquarters in London and a development shop in our company’s birthplace, Copenhagen, to support our more than 2,500 beloved European customers. With the continued support of industry professionals and great publications like COMPUTERWOCHE, we hope to continually grow that amount in the coming year. (After which, we’ll pause to have a celebratory beer.)
